Is the best bet to just play it out and at the end go back and level up the cheapest players to get the court?'

I'm just wondering if I get the second master....is that enough, or is it literally you would need to get all 3 masters to hit the 300 mark, or go back to prior levels to up level 8/9 guys?

I'm not happy that the new SD players are a letdown. As it stands I can't fit ANY of them in my team so I don't have any real use for them. And they just came out so... will I ever use SD players in S3 again?
Like others mentioned, if at least they had team boosts...

The part in bold is not true. I can fit some (Laimbeer, Ingles and Fox are my only options), but not much of an advantage in doing it (or none at all)

110 upped VC and Hakeem eliminate Lavine and Laimbeer for me.

110 Kawhi will eventually make Ingles pointless, and the plan is to grab 110 Magic so there goes Fox.

That leaves me with Scal and I'm currently rolling with 109 upped Siakum

Exactly. As it stands Laimbeer costs more then Olajuwon probably... c'mon! Still, I'll probably get Laimbeer eventually, if I somehow make it to legend with a "stamina hungry" campaign going on, IF I make him my priority, but in 2 weeks it's probably dated already.

The math I did made it seem like you have to max everyone, ie- all 3 masters to get the court. Which makes sense as far as how EA does it. There are 3 different sets of 10 players you get from start to finish. Each has 10 levels. 300 levels trained would be all of them.

The one workaround I see is this...... Some ppl like me got an extra set of players that EA sent out in the beginning bc ppl were locked out of the Earth levels...... You could conceivably train those 10 "duplicate" players and get it done without completing any Masters


EDIT- Just went back & realized that each player/card only levels up 9 times until it's maxed. So my math says you can only train 270 times....? Not possible to reach 300? Hmmmm

I find it hard to believe so many ppl think that they can progress with 2 of each player in the lineup...... Esp since they started us out with 10 diff players and gave us 10 again when we got an upgraded lineup..... Smh

Lol, I've been over there. I just don't know how its so difficult for ppl to figure out simple things. Blows my mind reading about so many ppl trading in golds they needed for the promo.... Holy smokes

The weird thing is I never even replaced the players.. when I got the packs I just updated the team.. I guess that's how I escaped trading any players..
But EA should have done (what they did later) from the beginning.. make the players not tradeable.. and now to make them tradeable after the promo is never going to happen..

The problem is that you can progress by having two versions of the same player In your lineup. You can get to 82 OVR with the two Durants. That unlocks the constellation but doesn’t earn you the pack.

Yeah he's the only one that can help you with that but no point in aiming for 82 and not the new pack in such it still hasn't been confirmed you can get it if you train cards other than 70 Anunoby like the bonus silvers for instance

If you keep Durant on the bench you reach 82 OVR faster and that unlocks two constellations, IIRC, which gives you plenty of first win tokens. I am pretty sure you need to train players from the same tier to get the next pack hence the need to train Anunoby. I don't think a silver player would work.

Yeah I know that it would give you 82 but no point in staying like that done you're getting tokens for no reason if you must train Anunoby that was my point might as well train him because without the 97s to train there's no master

The advantage you get from keeping Durant on the bench really depends on how much stamina you have and how close the events are to the first win reset. From memory, I got to like 81 OVR then when backward to 78 or something like that, but it unlocked extra blitzes to help train toward the 97 OVR player pack. Then I got to 82 with Durant in the bench and had to train Anunoby three levels to get the pack.

The problem with this promo is that people are naturally focused on raising their OVR to unlock the next set of blitzes. When you unlock the next pack and update your team, it automatically puts your previous starting five on the bench. Most people are going to keep them there because they boost the OVR. That’s where a lot of the confusion is stemming from. You could argue that people should read the overview more carefully, but a promo should be designed to be dummy proof. This two tier leveling system is too confusing for the average player.

No I'm saying the tokens are useless if people refuse to do what it takes to get the next batch of cards which isn't something that unlocks at 82 so unless people want a bunch of tokens and a bunch of low overalls cards they need to do whatever it takes to get the tier 3 cards which a lot of people don't seem to want to do until they're told that's what they need to do

I don't ever hit update team bc it jacks with my other lineups. So I never saw anything confusing. New pack has 10 cards.... Seemed obvious that I needed to plug them in & level up. I do agree that we shouldn't have been able to have 2 of the same card in the lineup. Can't do it anywhere else, shouldn't be able to do it here. But it's still pretty straightforward. The re-locking of constellations after the fact, the confusion of how to unlock more constellations and/or player packs, 3 diff Light year blitzes when there only needs to be one, Master set looking like it needs a 97 card instead of a 106...... that's all a big thumbs down for EA

Is there any chance on getting two masters cp3 and kd. I have kd at 104 and have not trained bench players. My total ovr is 91 . Should i level up cp3 or bench players. I m free to play btw. I want to get two masters. Can i reach 96 ovr with only 106 cp3 and 106 kd?
