I would pick magic, he has a great 3 and swc
Not at all sure this is right ( any errors due to a low IQ and too much whiskey for too many years):
1. Needed NBA Finals Elites players
—Player of the Game - 105s
15 nba finals elites each x 7 games = 105 (assuming 7 game series)
—Master KD *or* Kawhi - 106
20 for 106 choice + 10 for ability = 30
—Total = 135 elite nba players (assuming 7 game series; deduct 15 for each game short of 7)
2. Needed Elite/Gold Tokens
—Heroes - 105s
115 each hero x 4 = 460 elite tokens = 4,600 gold tokens (these are required to get Playoff Master KD or Kawhi)
3. Totals For All (Players of Game not required to get Master)
—135 Elite Finals Players
—460 Elite Tokens/4,600 Gold Tokens

Make your way through NBA Finals history with iconic MVPs as your campaign masters, memorable games as your custom events, and significant teams as your gameplay styles.
The 2019 NBA Finals is also history in the making and we will be watching them very closely. Each game, starting tonight, we will name a Player of the Game and give you a chance at a top OVR version of him! Expect a brief downtime shortly after the game as we bring you this content as fast as we can.

Campaign Map: 2019 NBA Finals
- The goal is to collect Elite Trophy Tokens to level up the Historic Heroes and acquire NBA Finals Game Elites.
- If you level up a Historic Hero to 105 OVR, you’ll receive a Historic Finals Mastery Token.
- Elite TEAM Trophy Tokens can be used anywhere Elite Trophy Tokens can be used EXCEPT for leveling up the Historic Heroes in Sets. Only Elite Lakers Trophy Tokens can be used to level up Magic Johnson, they cannot be used to level up the other 3 Historic Heroes.
- At Games 1, 3, 5 and 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals, you will receive a Historic Choice Token. In Sets, use this to choose which Historic Hero's NBA Finals story you would like to play.
- At the top left, you will see your two 2019 NBA Finals Masters rotating. You may click on them here to see their stats.
- Acquire 4 Historic Finals Mastery Tokens and 20 NBA Finals Game Elites to exchange in Sets for a 2019 NBA Finals Master Choice Pack.
- Exchange your 106 OVR NBA Finals Master and 10 NBA Finals Game Elites for your 106 OVR NBA Finals Master with an ability in Sets. DO NOT USE THE ABILITY TOKEN ON THE NBA FINALS MASTERS.
- You can also choose what gameplay style you want your NBA Finals Master to be.
- There are 5 Blitzes: 3 with 8 hour refreshes and 2 with 24 hour refreshes. See details on these below.
- There is one node on the map that looks different than the 5 Blitz nodes. This is the Player of the Game Event. After each real game of the 2019 NBA Finals, we will announce a Player of the Game. A 24-hour event will unlock on this node where you can play for a chance at a top OVR version of the Player of the Game.
- You can repeat this event for the 24 hours it is available for a chance at him.
- If you do not get him here, you can get him in the Store or in Sets for 15 NBA Finals Game Elites.
- Note that this ties directly to the real 2019 NBA Finals games, so they stop when the real series stops.
Campaign Map: Historic
- Each sub map represents a team’s journey through historically significant NBA Finals and an impactful player from that team as the Historic Hero.
- Each map has 7 events emulating the NBA Finals games during that year.
- Each event has 2 challenges: the first one rewards a Gold Trophy Token and the second one rewards an Elite Trophy Token.
- Each event costs no stamina and is first win only.
- Use these Trophy Tokens to level up your Historic Hero in Sets.
- Use the Ability Token to add an ability to your Historic Hero in Sets.
- As a special surprise while you complete each event, watch closely as the background of each map slowly unveils a historic moment.

Changes we made in this campaign:

- Background for campaign maps changes as you progress.
- Veteran users will have 6 Legacy Events to play through rewarding a total of 12 Gold Trophy Tokens.
- Reactionary content (Player of the Game) based on real 2019 NBA Finals games.
- Two extra blitz events for extra progression.

What first player do you guys recommend taking ?
I'm a low overall (99) with 102 UA Curry, 96 Vince Carter (I was about to upgrade him but maybe Wade is a better fit then), 103 Melo (who I really don't wanna replace, I love the guy and stats wise, he's better than pretty much every SF not named Kawhi or LeBron), maxed out Second chance Porzingis and 103 Moses Malone.
Wade looks really good but so does Magic (I don't wanna go for LeBron because of Melo, he will be my third choice if I have that many choices), I'm needing a SG right now but getting Magic would make me sell Malone and have enough for 103 Oladipo.
So yeah I could really use some help, thanks a lot

I’m a “light grinder” plus pay player. I just did a little “head math” on what it costs for one hero with some light grinding. And the answer is .... wait for it ..... $50,000 NBA cash. All four would be $200,000 NBA cash. That’s about $1,700 for one campaign, not including starter packs. So really about $2,000. EA has lost their f#cking minds. I wondered what it would take for me to say, “no mas.” Today EA showed me. Total f#cking insanity EA.
