Season 4 Complaint/Suggestion Thread

Taking a break , maybe permanent, from this game. I can’t take the lvl nerf anymore. IDK whats going on but I’m lucky to get +5 in 2d drive. This has been a particularly bad problem this week. I’ve gone from mid to high 20s, occasional 30s, to mid to low teens. Is this a penalty for having top cards? Is it EA trying to entice me to spend even more? Fat chance. I just quit lvl, after 3 seasons of not missing a daily tourney, which is really the main thread holding me to this game.

SD is a cluster f##k With no payoff.

Not much, if anything, to keep me in this game. No signs at all that major gameplay problems will ever be addressed. Or if ea is even capable of addressing them — huge nerf playing greater than -2 ovr, random out of bounds as part of the nerf, rebounding was improved for a bit but now is back to beginning of season crap, goaltending on dunk attempts and anything within a foot of basket, centers swooping up pg steal beyond 3 pt line and launching & hitting 3, impossible to block or even disrupt outside shot, dunks starting to become randomly missed again like beginning of the year, every two SD matches I have to force close app to avoid the inevitable nerf that’s coming next and that only works sometimes, pvp that sucks so bad I don’t even play it.....

Gameplay is a complete and total bad joke. It bears no resemblance to reality. So basically this is a card collecting game. I can do that buying packs of Real cards At the store. Oh, gee, what fun.

My inclination is that EA hasn’t a clue how to fix the issues. My second thought is they are so utterly clueless how real gameplay functions they can’t approximate it. Last, but not by far, is they know it’s screwed up but just don’t give a f##k and /or are wasting most of their time and energy on trying to fix an unfixable pvp. If my vote counted, just dump pvp and spend the extra time on fixing what absolutely could work.

But they won’t. because it’s clear over the 3 years I’ve played they just don‘t give a f##k about making a playable and enjoyable game. They call for suggestions and their answer - more content meaning more cards that won’t do what they are advertised to do in gameplay.

What’s that old definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over bad over and expecting a different result. Time to regain sanity. This “whale” is leaving the building.

Just a thought - quit trying to become more like 2K mobile, own NBALM is and should be different than 2K, then just fix your game — that would kick 2k’s a$$.

In the beginning of my break i also was bummed out about it. I missed competing for high ovr lineups. But then I realized: the most fun way to play this game is spending 0 cash and increasing my coin count? Fine! It’s what I’ve been wishing for since I started to play this

I doubt this will last. More people should follow me and you. You can already see some lower ovrs in top rankings of SD. Once/if it starts hurting their income, they will fix it.

Here's a question...... Did they JUST NOW start releasing Royal Jerseys? I've been trying to get one out of the sets all year & finally figured they must be sitting on em. Now there's a bunch showing up in the AH. That pisses me off in a big way.

They seem to have shown up with this promo Update. I got one completing the ultra to royal set. That sent me hunting on the ah. The really weird part is they are split +5 which is exactly what the Super jerseys are.

Ive been wondering lately how much of the initial impetus for cheating was overcoming nerfs? Seems odd at first but it may make sense. That doesn’t mean a bigger part wasn’t fools wanting to feel like big shots in top 5 leagues, but EA may have a part in this beyond just not taking enough action to ban cheaters‘ accounts.

It's because people have been stocking up all year like I did this would have come sooner of all the free courts and coaches they give us every promo were eligible for the trade in sets but I pulled a white Bulls jersey and sold it for 5 mil before I was told to sell it for over 7 mil but 5 mil is better than having 10 ultra items I don't use and don't sell at all

The weird thing was that STEELCITY MUT posted shots of a jersey he got at the beginning of the season. +5/+5 just like the Super items so I knew it wasn't worth going for the Supers but then I never saw a Royal jersey after that. Nor have I seen a Royal Court......

At least you got coaches,you have chance to sell them...i completed 2 times and both times got court with 40% XP

ive saved all along. Prolly completed the royal set 12 times. and I bought ultras to complete it a few more times. Never sold any jerseys or courts. There was nothing but plus 5 coaches. Then this weekend I pulled a jersey and a court. BTW, you don’t want the court, either royal or super — the boosts are coin or rep only.

No because they can put it into autopilot with promos or work from home but it wouldn't be an NBA Live thing it would be an EA thing and them closing down every game for however long would really hurt the company so they wouldn't do that plus coronavirus isn't that bad in the US to take the precautions that people are taking like banning fans from sporting events or cancelling them altogether

And just like that they postponed the Jazz and Thunder game tonight because of Rudy Gobert getting sick no confirmation on what he has but they're so scared about it all that they postponed the game probably so they can test the Jazz players

The problem is if it’s not broke for everyone then there’s even less chance of it getting fixed. They’re working fine for me (10 a day).

99 master 8 day Influencer campaign starts tomorrow. if I was to draw up the absolutely worst idea after 2 straight 99 master campaigns, this would be it.
