Lowering the elites to 50K will help some, but they've been 100+ for weeks and the only person benefiting from them being 100+ was EA! We listed cards, they got listed/mirrored and sold, but we never received our coins.

1M... nice
50k reference seems a much more realistic price for 80?s. However, in a week or so with the first Next Gen 84 players being claimed, it may already be a too high price.
According to EA latest prices, this would place 81?s at 100k, 82?s at 200k, 83?s at 400k, and the rest is blurry.
I wish things were a little bit more flexible so that I could build my team a bit to my personal liking.
Right now I?m a 81 ovr and the players I use are pretty much the same as every other 81 ovr?s I see out there:
Westbrook
Harden
LBJ
Griffin
Gobert (most players use Embiid or Shaq)
The biggest problem I see with the AH is they?ve lost correlation to the value of cards in sets. This is a great lesson in economics for anyone going thru it right now. When it was a ?free market?, there was relative price equilibrium so arbitrage was rare (exceptions being sniping bot drops). Now that they?ve instituted caps and taken away the markets ability to assign value to certain card levels, we have a situation where the value of a card in the AH doesn?t correlate at all with its value in sets. Right now the exchange sets for 70-74 golds to 75-79 golds and those to an 80 OVR elite make absolutely no sense whatsoever. This was not always the case and in my opinion, they?ve screwed up the entire AH for everyone to eliminate a small problem affecting very few players and ultimately not affecting their revenue at all if you contend people willing to spend hours upon hours manipulating the AH for gain are not the same people ready to open their wallets at the first chance to best their competitors.
This is why I insist EA stop trying to make up for what they consider lost revenue to exploiters who likely wouldn?t spend real money anyway and instead focus on the value of what they?re selling. When there?s value people will spend (look at the Harden pack when it was $1.99 but then they just had to go and push it since it was likely one of their most lucrative packs in a while...shocker  ). Does anyone who?s willing to spend real money find real value in any of the packs currently being offered?!?!

The AH restrictions this year seem like a kneejerk reaction to the gold player glitch last season. They don't want people getting crazy rich from the AH even though some guy on Josh's discord has already made over 8M coins from working the AH (staying away from 80s and 81s, incidentally.) They are aware that they are hurting the average customer who just wants to sell an elite and make a few coins but they aren't willing to remove the caps at this stage. Their plan at this stage seems to be to offer exchange sets and find ways to give more coins and gradually lower the price of low OVR elites.
It does feel like they're trying to control our OVR this season as well as our coin balance but at the same time, there is also a fair amount of resistance from players. I know I have barely spent any of my coins thus far and I haven't touched my NBA cash yet. And the reason for that isn't just the AH issues but the slow OVR curve as well. Anyone who has played this game for any length of time knows that the cards we're dealing with at the moment will have no value in the future. Cards like #trending Harden are tempting but I think a lot of people are waiting for the right time to spend and now is definitely not the time.
Wow... 8M is a lot. I?m nowhere close to that so... is it that much of a problem that some guy has 8M at this point? I mean, if there were 100 players doing that I could get the problem, but 1 making 8M and some 5 making 4M probably wouldn?t even have an impact.
Regardless, could this be solved by limiting access to the AH for a time, to players EA thinks have made enough coins? For example, if EA thought a coin limit had been reached, limit that players listings to 5 cards a day. Just thinking out loud here.

I don't want to disagree with you guys all the time, but this 'Regardless, could this be solved by limiting access to the AH for a time, to players EA thinks have made enough coins? ' seems a kind of regulation much worse than the regulation you are criticizing earlier.
Some guy made 8M with legit sniping while most people are complaining they can't increase their coins with the AH? That's well done and the player deserves to be able to continue to do so.
So that's what's going on. I've been wondering why Giannis has been selling all of a sudden after weeks of trying to sell him. For base elites I've been able to sell the players you mentioned, plus I'd add Draymond too. I still can't sell Simmons, Embiid, Booker & PG.Hope Ea realizes a macro is purchasing all the below 70k elites that were reduced a few days ago.....
If you have a Jokic, Beal, AD, DeRozan, Giannis (missing a couple more) and wish to sell them for 70k, nows the time to list them at 69,999.
All of those players were purchased for the Tip-off promo. There is a 12 hour cooldown for the trade in set but you can get 20 elites during the promo which is more than enough to build Wilt.
Only 1 96 listed right now in my AH (Europe)
What is the bot up to?

Stewie mentioned the caps had been changed, apparently 96 is 1.5m so many users are holding back sale due to it.
There is literally no ghost cards around and this time yesterday there was a good 20+ in my AH.

Thanks.
Still, there should be some listings, cause some of the 96?s (Cousins at least) were already being sold for less than 1,5M.
Once again, not well thought out. How come I can complete the elite objectives of these SD player sets well in advance of the silver and (especially the) gold ones?(Other than those SD balls that I have plenty of already, thank you.)
