I tried boosted Rookie Ayton (and Zion) and as you suspected he drops TD so no net gain. I was able to get to 1098 but still no dice.

Are you able to try GT Zion and GT Wilt? If not just get Giannis from the current promo and if that isn’t 111 then this game is broken lol

LvL has the biggest impact for me but I don’t touch SD outside of objectives so I cannot speak on it much.

Ok, I thought there might be some disconnect here. Are you implying then that you play lvl at a manual 110 (when opponent is 110 or lower) but leave your AI at 111 (otherwise)?

I sold GT Zion but I see where you're going. Depending on how much coin I need to drop I might give this a try (mainly for lvl as we're sitting in the low 50's and getting crushed by low ranking "transient" leagues with all 111's.).

you too huh. We dropped from top 40 to top 70. All our tournaments for the past week have been against all 111 leagues some of which are ranked in the 3000s but put up crazy scores. This is why I need to get to 111 Asap!

Yup, and 80% of them are the same players (e.g. HugoVitor, fjordan, rony etc) over and over...

Track record as 111 then 110 in LvL so far (only attempted twice):

111 first quarter versus 109: 18-14.
110 second quarter versus 109: 24-6.

Next attempt.

111 first quarter versus 109: 21-11.
110 second quarter versus 109: 24-7. And LeBron missed a wide open three, so it should have been 27-7. I didn’t get the rebound, so I lost the points entirely rather than getting second chance points.

Same experience here. I have to use a 110 on my quarters. I leave my Def lineup at 111 and it does fine but I can't do anything against lower OVR if I play at 111. So frustrating that EA can't get this right

Thanks guys...good to know and I'll pass along to my team as well since I've noticed lower margins with our 111's against 110 or below.

Hahaha, those guys play for us too when they can. They league hop for league tokens. They are Brazilian or Spanish I think. They have their own league and play on 2-3 different leagues. I don't know how they have the time.

I’m sure EA would tell us this is anecdotal and all in our head regardless. But there is no doubt that the combination of seriously jacking up ai on day 1, then messing with the ovr system produced a bizarre synergistic effect. BTW, know what the difference is between a 111 and a 106? According to EA it’s 2%. smh

Not really, it's all depends on their business model. However, EA mission in earning money is strong, and the willingness to pay can be seen clearly. So they take advantage out of it.

Business should make money but what EA is doing here? The reward doesn't even equal the effort, it will never be in any game because companies goal is making profit, but in this game, the reward of playing hard on SD, LvL is basically 'nothing'.

They put those cards only for whoever is willing to pay not 'play'. Lol.

Lol yup wca has an alternate in our league which he uses to invite all the others when they are not playing another tournament.

Do you think Giannis is more surefire than Jokic? Jokic is +3 speed. I don't think Admiral's +4 dunk is doing that much and base 107 is tied for my lowest OVR position. I've got 108 Duncan and 108 Gasol as options for my PF position. Obiviously, I've got 108 Olajuwon and 107 Admiral at C with next option being 106 +1 boost Embiid.

I have the All-Defensive boost item, the Bulls court that gives +3 and +8 total boosts in jerseys.

I'm set pretty solidly at 110, but am I anywhere close to 111? Would selling GT AI and buying rookie AI get me there?

This was only combo that works! And it’s the same 1098 because Duncan drops 1 and Jokic increases 1. Only other thing I noticed is the Bench OVR increased from 109 to 110:

I'm at 1093 now. Just put Carter up for auction and sold GT AI for 5.5M

Getting rookie AI and Gasol would put me at 1097/1098. What is the threshold for 111?

I've seen 1097 work with right combo. Took me 1098 but again with right combo. Not all 1098's are treated equal.
