Showdown season3 discussions - end of the 12th season and the start of the 13th season

Guys the showdown player's fan boost dont work..I got four of them on my defensive bench, and did the math over 3 consecutive games, i noticed the 20% player boost only showed up but didnt actually add to fan count, i may be wrong so i just wanna confirm if other's have checked this out..

Edit: Ok i decided to actually do the math and realized its the quarter win bonus that made it look like it wasn't adding up, and it really isnt.. will post ss shortly..

From the Picture.. I originally had 407348, adding the win bonus of 2160 makes it 409508, but to calculate the final fan count of 415925, they just added 407348 to 8577, The 10737 shown which is 8577 + 2160 doesn't actually count.

Yeah, looking at your SS, you should've wound up with 417k fans not 415k. Send in a report to help. Good find

They were supposes to fix it this week.. since they didnt they gave the packs..
So did you get one set of packs or two? Which tourney did you submit your e-mail about - this week or last week?
Didnt have to submit anything.. just ea help.. contact us..missing content.. thats it..
Since i have already reached legend.. i assumed that the set of packs i got were for this week..
Were we supposed to get for last week too?

Mind you I already listed The Rookie, Pro, All-Star and Super Star packs as missing along with a screenshot of my final position. Anyway, I had them call me and that resulted in a 20 min conversation (well, 10 of it was putting me on hold to talk to a specialist) that resulted in them elevating my ticket to...a specialist. Why he couldn't have just put me on the phone with the specialist is beyond me. So now I wait...need these packs to finish 86 Ingles.

I just called. Took screen shots and gave all info they needed. Was told it is a server issue and told they couldn?t do anything. Guy told me go to ea forum and post issue is all I could do.

What are you guys writing in the detailed section of the "missing content"? I've done this twice for missing SD rewards and both time the incident was closed without resolve. The only option to "resume" the issue is to have them call you...and that's just about worthless unless you get someone from N. America.

I think because you specified this week and they somehow were able to figure out they sent out packs for the mistake this week that your issue was resolved rather quickly. I get the feeling that there's no communication between content designers / devs and customer service. Tempted to post something on discord but I don't have "status" yet for the Ask EA channel :roll:

Needed a laugh, and for some reason seeing this comment did it for me lol....so thanks. Add it to "list of things I didn't expect to read today" though lol

You dont need anything more. If you dont emphasize that you are missing the make good packs, they will ignore you or send you a pro pack or the old elite players reward.

According to Brian, the make-good packs being given out are for last week. Not sure if they'll do something for this week's error.

You dont need anything more. If you dont emphasize that you are missing the make good packs, they will ignore you or send you a pro pack or the old elite players reward.

What about for last week?

According to Brian, the make-good packs being given out are for last week. Not sure if they'll do something for this week's error.
Are you sure? Why would they wait a week to make good on the previous tournament and then have the same issue this week? I thought last week everyone was affected and this week (as a result of trying to fix the problem) only certain members were affected?

That chat member was referencing his earlier comment about the packs being last week's compensation. No news on whether there will be similar packs for this week. There are some reports of people who don't even play showdown getting the make-good packs, so it's just a big mess.

I don't know what to tell you about EA and their logic. :lol: Brian said the bug was supposed to be fixed this week, but no surprise, it somehow didn't materialize. Their QA has been pretty lacking since the Harvest promo. For a game that has more than 50 million downloads, it still doesn't have an in-game notification to inform users to log out before an upcoming maintenance. Shows you where their priorities are. I get it if it's a newly-released game, but we are three years in and annoying bugs like missing store packs or wrong tier placements shouldn't be happening.

Thanks, I didn?t see this post. What was really confusing to me is they didn?t send out packs until they realized it happened again this week. Then they say that was for last week but the post I recall was Brian saying that this week was ?fixed? with a fingers crossed emoji or something to that effect.
