[Seeking Help] North Pole Promo Strategy

So I've gone through what feels like the first days of this promo even though it's only been an hour. Feels like it will take forever in terms of upgrading players.

Anyone yet have a strategy for grinding? so far I'm at 64 OVR with starting line ups at 66 and bench at 62 but not sure if keeping all players even makes the most sense.

So far I completed Elf's Village but getting to 66 for the Workshop might take a while and coin.

Any ideas, suggestions, recommendations, BESIDES buying packs?

I'm in the same position as you. Also, don't get the 500 cash pack from the store, i wrongly assumed frozen players could be used in the lineup to raise the OVR but apparently i was wrong, so now i've got 3 non auctionable frozen players that are zero use to me unless i put them in the set to get 2 measly training tokens (i'm assuming they won't be of any other use?)
Does anyone know what you get for the ornament token exchange set? It says 10 gold tokens gets you an elite but knowing EA an elite will be worth 500 tp or something.

As far as i can see, the only way to improve your OVR is to train up the players, so basically this promo is a massive coin drain, unless the masters (assuming they're even obtainable) are auctionable?
Edit: Just noticed you need an 83 ovr lineup to unlock 1 master, 85 for the next and 88 for the 3rd. I really can't see any of those being in reach unless you're throwing money at it.

The frozen players in packs are unauctionable and can't be put into the north pole lineup, not really sure there's anything we can do except grind away and train the players we were given.

The elite tokens are 1k tp and gold are 100tp, so the 10 golds for 1 elite set is completely pointless.

It?s a quality of life set.

I just got to 67. This promo, you can definitely push two masters if you stay on your grind. It isn?t a money grab.

Don?t forget to watch your ads.

I do agree however, that the coin requirement to upgrade the cards is ridiculous. Should be abolished.

The way it looks you get all 3 masters with a 88 overall I'm also at 67 for overall so far it's not a hard grind the 2-4 blitz gaves 3-4 a lot

Yeah I agree with all the above, it's a big grind and a coin drain but a master or 2 should be possible. I guess that's the cost to get the masters, you can grind it but it'll cost coins. To confirm, it looks like we must train the players we've got, no opportunity to swap other players in?

What are the coin requirements going to be do we think?
The 55s are 250 until 58 then 500 so far.
The 60s are 250 until 62 then 500 so far.

When you get the all gold team, it restarts back to 100training points for the 1st level and 250 coins, i'll update as i go through the levels

Starters:
70-71 = 100TP and 250 coins
71-72 = 100TP and 250 coins
72-73 = 100TP and 250 coins
73-74 = 200TP and 500 coins
74-75 = 200TP and 500 coins

Bench:
65-66 = 100TP and 250 coins

500 cash pack worked out extremely well for me (first time ever and probably last). Pulled a 90 ovr winter Hassan Whiteside
