EA bots are killing the AH

Re: EA bots is killing the AH

At least some Lillards are appearing. Finally got my boy.

I have been trying to sell an 80 ovr Lillard for ages. I have tried all possible combinations of bid and buy now prices. Nothing seems to work and I never see any Lillard card being mirrored on the ah. It can happen that a less popular card like Lowry is being sold for exactly the same price combination as my card but Lillard will not be sold. Really something shady going on.

Even if your card is mirrored (it must be in the price range to get mirrored which is 50-100k to be safe that includes bid and bin prices) it is almost a guarantee that it won't be mirrored in your AH because they made it like that to stop people from transferring cards from one account to another specific account as well as give one more countermeasure against coin selling they made sure to do a bunch of stuff to out that to a rest

Even if it is not mirrored in my ah, why isn't it sold (in the currently valid price range) when it is such a popular card? Lillard is still a fairly popular card. As I said, I even see Lowry getting sold, although it is certainly a less popular one.

To clarify to everybody , I have only attempted to sell base elites and gold players so far in this season. With golds, i have been selling cards successfully, especially offseason golds, but i have not sold any base elites not matter what prices i posted. They will not shift at all. To me that looks as something is really screwed with the base elite market. The fact that so many other people have said the same thing over here, it is alarming.

Is this possible?? Like, I know I've seen people sell program elites at times, but has anyone here ever sold a regular elite since the cap changes? This theory sounds crazy, but it almost makes sense. Since EA couldn't control the AH, they just give us the appearance of a market, but a poor attempt at that.
I sold 80 Beal after reading one post here.. some guy posted that he had starting price at 55k and sold his 80 elite, so i posted Beal for 60k/85k and he sold in my first try.. I was kinda shocked lol, but maybe it was just fluke (didn't try to sell any 80 elites since then).. anyway, what they did with AH is just unacceptable, really a big slap to the players' face.

BTW all elites I sold in S3:

1) 80(SG)J.Butler for 188k/199k (sold for 199k), early in the season, one of the first days after releasing S3

2) 80(SG)B.Beal for 60k/85k (sold for 60k, first try), week or so ago

3) 81(PF)P.Gasol(OM) for 211k/222k (sold for 222k, first try), few days ago

Because the bot doesn't want to buy it the bot is buying a fraction of the cards that the bot sells on the AH they claim it's not an issue but that's probably because it is done on purpose it can't be an issue if it's running as it's supposed to so they either admit that they set it up like that to screw people over or deny the fact that cards aren't selling to the bot

It seems like the bot has some kind of 'false' logic still.

The consequence of that however is that people do not buy the new cards as they cannot make money from the ones they attempt to sell.

Probably EA's main goal is for people to buy coins from the store but in those prices no one will. If they lower the prices of coins in the store many people will buy coins as they used to do from third parties.

I belong to two different AHs. Up until yesterday, it was impossible to find him in the AH. Now he's appearing regularly. At first, he was selling instantly but things have started to cool off and there are a couple of Lillards sitting in the AH right now.

There has been an influx in PGs and PFs since the Elevate program began. What's not clear is whether people are selling these cards because they've upgraded to the 85 OVR Westbrook and Griffin or if they've been sitting on them because they were unable to sell them prior to yesterday. I'm not really sure why EA would try to control the base elite market unless they wanted to entice people to buy those accelerator packs.

Beal seems to have a player-specific low range, like Wiggins and they don't last long in the AH as far as I can see. It seems those two may not follow the rules of other base elites

I have been trying to sell Otto Porter who also has a low range -but not that low - but nobody is buying the card, so I guess it's no wonder mine isn't selling.

I have been trying to sell other elites like Lowry as well, but I have no expectations for those.

Yeah that's definitely a big part of it which is why they even added the ability to buy coins in the game and yeah anyone buying coins at those prices needs some serious help

Im pretty sure your base elite mirror card got sold, probably many times too after you posted it, but the thing is EA clearly doesnt have it programmed right to where the bot is putting a bid on your original card, because this used to happen last season where the mirror card would get bid or bought but your card would just expire.

So, its kinda obvious now that any card that has a 1 coin difference in the price is a scam. This is only beneficial to the buyer and not to the seller (also benefits EA). It doesnt apply just to base elites, theres also a few program elites like 83 Durant & 82 Kyrie which wont give the seller their coins even if someone buys their (rare) mirror card. The only base elites that the bot will give the seller their coins, that we know of is 80 Wiggins and 80 Beal, because they have an actual price ex. 65k bid 70k buy (just like golds and other program elites that are proven valid).

Its time for EA to fix this!

It's so bad. I've wondered, though, are we taking measures to let EA know this needs to be fixed??? I mean, we can all get outraged here, and it helps to get the frustration out, but we have to do something! I'm sure a few have messaged Brian, and I'm sure he means well, but I wonder if it's just not something he can influence. His thing is content, after all (I'm aware he can pass issues to people who can fix things out of his reach).

Have we been loud enough to the right people? Maybe EA is missing a small detail that they assumed was corrected and that's why we are having problems?? There certainly were a few details missed Sunday night/Monday morning with the 100% shot spree/ AI only makes layups/dunks.

Idk. Maybe there are plenty of people buying the 250K coins pack for 5K cash and therefore EA sees no reason to fix it. (Ridiculous price, by the way).

Maybe they dont know there's an issue. People seemed to be able to sell elites before the most recent price cap changes. Clearly the issue is with a change that was made with the recent price cap changes, and probably something with the bot selling the mirror card but not being honest and buying the original, which as others have said is unacceptable.

The problem with that is the dev community for this game is very quiet and unknown at least for Madden (the console game not the mobile one) all the devs are known and communicate with players constantly so people know the right ones to talk with this game we only know a handful of people that are involved with this game in any way so we have to work with what we got in that regard and talk with the ones that actually aren't scared to say they are part of working on this game

Yea, it's all really weird, I remember I couldn't sell Porter too.

BTW I'm not sure if this info is helpful, but finally I sold OM-81Derozan after 10 or so tries.. this time I posted him for 150k/175k (lowest ever) and he sold for 175k (I saw mirror of my card for 182k/208k with 182k current bid, 30 minutes before it was sold).

I take it you used an alt to find the mirror card?

You can see the mirror on your account it just has to be mirrored to your AH there were 3 and with Asia joining us it could be 4 now

I don't have alt account, I just searched AH to see if there is Derozan with the same time as mine and I found it.

ohh, I had no idea about it.. good to know. That explains why I can't find mirror most of the times, if card can be mirrored at one of 3 or 4 servers then it's just 33.3 or 25% chance to see it at mine.
