Completing an assist and a defensive rebound is not limited to harden,
and try to make an asssist & 3pt shot at the same time.
I finished the last harden challenge for a couple of times... very tough but interesting.

Gonna be a hard grind.. SD is shelved for the next 9 days apart the min 2 IMHO..

Might be worth getting to Legend this week IF you get to pick the court bonus? Just wait until the end and it's a pretty easy road to 400k. I play a little extra on days where the bonus makes sense without having to drop my OVR. I'll be ok if I have to drop a little cash on packs to finish Harden. Have to spend it sometime!

I keep running the math and this seems totally wrong. I get 1890 gold tokens needed, not 1340. And that's only getting to the end of level 3.
Ah I see now, this is missing the entire 3rd row of sets. The 3rd row costs 550 more gold tokens. Only at that point can you trade in the 94+ ability player.
So there's no way to get 99 w Clutch without spending a bunch of $ or NBA cash. The current $19.99 pack will get you 80 elite tokens (400 gold equivalent) and that'll still leave you short if you grind all day AND but the coin packs....

Thinking about it now, seems pretty disingenuous. Brian making it seem like this awesome card coming out, "everyone gets the 83 for free" but there's a time limit on it.... If we gotta spend $40 real $ to do it.....pfft. Bette cards will be out within a week or two. Pistol is already a good replacement card

Huh? You need 620 gold tokens for the regular 99 (or to complete level MVP I). MVP II requires 720 gold tokens to complete. So that's 1340 total. If you have an ability player to use for MVP IV then you can skip the entire MVP III. The 70 elite token set is for if you don't trade in an ability player and instead complete MVP III.
Bottom line, you're going to have to spend some to get clutch Harden but let's see what other packs come out later in the promo before passing final judgment. As it is now, you're left with a shortfall of 1340-1060 = 280 or 56 elite tokens. Except the first win bonus is overstated so it's really 60 something or about 5k NBA cash. My bet is we get better packs towards the end of the promo and worst case you get a free 99 card with some coin boost. Tough to complain about that as an f2p.

+3 OVR is worth more than Clutch, right? Trying to sell my LNY Harden because I won't be able to get to stage 4.

Man, I was just checking campaigns and they still have the friggin Harden 1/2 campaign available to play. It is completely throwing me off on whether to ditch like 600 tokens from those sets. If they aren't gonna do anything why leave them up?
It is pretty easy to get Harden 95 already even as F2P so this should be good overall.

99 Harden misses like crazy, like the LNY edition did at times. I even missed a couple mid-range shots in a drill, +22% open (no defender present) perfect shots.
Does Harden have a special ?brainfreeze? stat or something?
Right now I?m planning on completing the basic 99 version only. It?ll probably be a bench warmer. A bit disapointed by this, but at least I haven?t spent any cash on it yet, so it?s ok.

i concur with the 100/ day.... (day 2 - 10?)
which means that without packs/cash/abilities player all the way is impossible..
SD is out for me, pfff who needs +10% fans..
will decide by the w/e whether i go past 99 also..

100 gold token per day (1000 golds) + 100 saved bonus (100 golds) + 40 elite from store (200 golds) + 30 gold from free events= 1330 golds, few golds short for 2nd set so i might go for it, sell, then buy the regular 99. This is if i am consistent with 100 a day ( including daily coin packs). Will wait as well til weekend or few days before end of promo before i decide to spend, there might more coming.

I'm starting to think getting the 99 with 10% is going to be tough. I have a player with an ability I can use but just getting to that point just by grinding is starting to seem unlikely.

The consensus before the promo began was that only the 99 would be grindable and I think that's pretty much the case unless some extra content is added.

The events are nerfed. I'm missing shots with a lot of players. Until you play SD or lvl with him you won't know for sure. Brian is on record saying this is easily the best card they've released to date. And I don't think he meant because of clutch and boosts. Only a matter of time before the big spenders have the clutch version so we will know long before we have to worry about whether to grind out the coin boost set or not. Either way, might as well play the promo.
