I agree. I don't feel like the masters are worth grinding for. Especially p2w.
Wouldn’t it be better for you to stop playing altogether?
Please don’t take that as an attack, because it’s a serious question. Judging by your posts, you put a lot of time (and money) into this game, and I honestly haven’t seen you say a single positive thing about this game, and this season especially. What is it that makes you keep playing?
I agree that EA messed a lot of things up this season, and still does. But there have also been multiple promos that I really enjoyed grinding through, so for me, that’s why I keep playing. Again, not an attack, but I’m genuinely curious.
As for the promo.. The masters don’t seem worth the grind, and definitely not worth spending money on, but I do like that there are options for what you want to grind. If you’re by some miracle still invested in superstar players, this is the first promo that actually lets you earn shards and points to upgrade them.

It's nothing special but without doing anything out of the ordinary aside from buying the coin packs ....... Looks like it won't be hard to get all 3 Masters. Tough to complain too much about that. But everything else is still a shitshow. Including their lack of attention to player style/position bc they keep releasing a bunch of stuff in the same style/ position. It's driving me nuts

But everyone is able to get away with at least four 99s and one 98, and some other nifty bonuses, like some free coins and NBA cash.

ive said a lot favorable about the game. But I’ll also call a spade a spade. And unfortunately S4 has had lots of spades. This promo compared to the same promo last year, is a major downer. 99s instead of 100s. +2 boost instead of +4. I get frustrated for the very reason I am passionate about the game - 2 sides of the same coin. A couple, weeks ago EA made some changes for that good. Things looked up ( except gameplay). Then this letdown. If you enjoy this promo, I’m happy for you

This right here is what Im talking about. 2 of those are Street PG. Master Kemba is a Street PG. Next week, This Date Player drops...... And it's STREET PG Bob Cousy. I mean, WTF? That is actually a big deal. last promo we had 2 98+ Street PGs as well. We've got 3 lineups for each position. It's their job to do more than just mail it in. It's f**King ridiculous
Cards and stats are all over the place this season. I really wonder who was the genius who decided to have predecided legend cards and gotw (bagley hasnt even been playing!). Like u said I already have a kyrie unauctionable 98 ..

I think entire game is aranged way way before we get new contents
Repeatable masters,no break beetwen promos,sets players are probably the worst players in all 4 season,daily,weekly,monthly player set are way beyond ovr curve and so on and on....im looking at this promo tatum and this is the 4 sf sharpshooter inside of last 10-15 days from promos or sets...makes no sense

Well. I think EA targets more to expand coverage of people paying for live pass than anything else. No point of pursue master you cant reach or pay for it p2p because after 2 or 3 weeks everybody gets same or close ovr player which plays same. And oh yeah... Showdown rewards suck the worst.
