I want to say, I truly appreciate EA trying to get creative with the boosts. I don't think having a coin boost is a terrible thing, but for it to really have an impact, I think it would have to be more than 10%. I mean, the boost is only relevant in events that give coins, and most of those are 100-150 per win, so it's an extra 10-15 coins, lol. How much boost is a better amount? It's hard for me, to say, really. Just based on the coin value in the game (what you can realistically get with say 30K coins), the extra 10-15 coins per event win is kind of moot.
a 300% coin boost would be enough to catch eyes, I think, and really wouldn't be too much room for abuse (sure, the jackpot event would be much better than currently, along with the "old" Harden first wins).
It was questionable though, that during All Star Robertson gets a coin boost, while Williams, Wilkins, Malone got entire team boosts and Shaq literally had an ability! Just seemed kind of strange to have those cards all cost the same amount.

Well we know by now that they aren't very good at monetizing content. They could get ppl to buy stamina to compete in SD for sweet new players but they just settle for nobody caring much about a random jersey with a weak fan boost. You're dead on about coin boosts. If we're paying for players in the store, they should have a worthwhile boost. At least 100% coin boost should be the minimum. Even if you stacked your bench and had 500% coin boost.... playing a 25 stamina event that gives 150 coins.....If you used all your stamina for a week, you'd net 300k coins. That's a good amount but it'd take 10 weeks of that to save 3 mil. 2.5 months to have enough to buy 1 good player on the AH? That's not even a killer boost. Idk, we're not quitting over it so it won't change. Can't even figure out why they'd give a top player like 99 Clutch Harden, that you have to pay to get, a bench boost....and only to one player. Makes zero sense.

Well, obvs the coin boost is useful if you put him with the other players/courts/jerseys/coach with coin boosts, in your custom "coin lineup", like the one i have. I have one with like 60% coin boost total.

Is it really useful though? How many EXTRA coins do you pull in per month? Id guess not enough to spend time counting. I have a coin lineup too, bc why not? But we point he made was that coin boosts are weak weak weak. Why not make them actually worthwhile? Esp if they're on cards ppl pay for?

Hahaha. I knew someone would suggest that the coin boost would be "useful" combining with boosted jerseys and the NP players and a coin coach. 60% boost. 60 extra coins per event lol. I agree, though. 60% is of course better than 0%, but in the great scheme of things is just a few rain drops, in the ocean. It would just be nice if the coins given was revamped to be worth it. 75 stamina events giving 100 coins on repeat wins? The same coin amount as the 25 and 50 lol. Just needs to be revamped to where it really makes a difference is all.

If you have at least 100% coin boost in the future i think you can start to get something a little useful.

is Harden even worth it if I have 96 harden with clutch? 3 guaranteed points vs higher overall?

You'll need the OVR at some point, may as well spend time grinding the base 99. What else is there to do this week? Sell him or keep him for when he'll help you team OVR

Anyone know if the basic 99 and/or the 99 with 10% will be auctionable before the sets expire? Since grinding out the 99 with 10% will be impossible then if made auctionable I would much rather just buy the 99 with 10% and upgrade him.

It's more about their perception of lost revenue than it is you making coin but yeah, they're squeezing things so tight that it's bound to cost them in the long run.

If they let you buy or sell Harden before the promo ends, there would be no shortcut to get him via sets.
The engagement to the game is bigger this season than the previous one. More people with the app installed in their devices. They are near the balance they want.
Season 4 is already confirmed before reaching the midseason. I dont see nothing that is gonna cost them in the long run.
They are working well to avoid the same mistakes that fifa mobile is making and that is causing them to lose players.
