To begin with, I?m a HUGE Carmelo fan and a diehard OKC fan, which were the biggest reasons behind getting this card. I sniped him for 3m, rather than paying around 8m, so that is another plus.
Despite his stats, he shoots surprisingly well. Obviously not on par with other cards in my lineup such as FMVP Durant, but I did manage to score 18 with him in a Showdown quarter. Like reality, his mid range shot is phenomenal. Out of the 15-20 shots at mid range I took, I counted three misses.
His three point shot is a bit conflicting. One quarter he?s red hot, another quarter he?ll be ice cold, but when he is hot it?s super fun to play with.
Melo cards have given me good experiences in the past, the first one being Crossroads Melo in the beginning of the season, who I enjoyed for a good bit before being replaced.
His defense is great, and I?ve easily gotten steals with him.
On top of all of this, he gives a three point boost of +3.
