Layups stat?

So, with the new in-game feedback you may have noticed a "layup" rating whenever a player performs one...

Is this a hidden stat?
Or a combination of some of the already disclosed stats?

What do you guys think?

Something we'll never know really.
I'm sure there have always been hidden stats behind the scene.
EA just shows us the ones that matter because the rest are probably only used for algorithms and determining who wins individual matchups in the game.

I've always thought that dunks and layups were the same? So your dunking stats pop up when you do a layup. I could be wrong though.

Nah... if you make a dunk you recognize the number shown (or close, since sometimes it is adjusted) but the layup number is nowhere to be seen on the stats. Example: 99 final Harden has a layup rating of 86 (or 88 maybe... can’t remember exactly). But despite it’s low rating I find this card to be pretty good on layups (maybe influenced by the layup special icon that shows on the top corner).
