Harvest Sets vs Harvest Events

Harvest Sets expire in Tuesday, yet, we have one more day for Harvest events.
As we all know Harvest events are useless if the sets are gone.
Was there a message from EA that sets are going to be extended so that they can expire as the event expires?

Actually, all "events" expire at 6am on Wed. The sets are going to be around for another "day or so" according to Brian.
