EA s plan working?

Played a lot of showdown this season and noticed a lot of players with pack only players.. (some could have saved up/some lucky etc).. and majority had more than 2 of those players.. on top of that saw buckeye spent 400$ on packs .. the combination of pack only players and OVR advantage seems to be working for EA..
I personally still haven't spent any on the game cos I don't think any card is per se worth it (curry will get a rebound over 105 cousins) but was wondering if anyone has spent more than 100$ on the forums.. just curious as I know most of the users here snipe and sell of promos..

Are you sure he spent $400 or used $400 worth of cash because I know he runs around on Line buying cash from cash sellers along with new accounts when he gets banned for doing shit that violates the ToS which in itself is a violation

The only thing in the store that's ever looked appealing is that $1.99 deal for 1,000 NBA Cash. Otherwise, I wouldn't spend real money on anything if I were you

Ya he realised he s getting a lot of subs and views with the free agency packs so he's 'cashing' in.

But it's obvious with people spending so much.. that this model is going to be replicated or even get worse in season 3.. though part of me finds the free aspect of the game decent as I have a 98 ovr lineup without sniping and only grinding the promos

Even if that's true that is bad too he's wasting people's money on this shit and 80%+ of people who watch videos on this game on the regular (or any for that matter) are kids so he's basically burning little kid's money on an account that will be thrown in the trash when he gets banned again which is inevitable but I think he's lying because he was banned from Line chats for using the chats as his personal source of info to gain some income

It is the most annoying thing for sure. Quite a few of those 98-99 have so many, its almost impossible to win. :roll:

Yeah not surprised the guys on Line were making fun of it because he is widely hated there for his videos that cause EA to mess with stuff but honestly it wasn't a guess I knew that there was no chance in hell he would go to being a legit player he is horrible at the game so he tries to take any advantage he can I remember when we had tournaments on FB play for the game and he got destroyed by 20+ when the game was over because despite having the overall needed to qualify for the tournament his gameplay was far off I hope no one sells him another account he is scum and I have some screenshots to prove it but I'd rather keep that prison style talk off this forum but just know it was very graphic and something that if actually done would get him thrown in jail for forcing himself on someone

I bet if I add it up, I've spent over $100 this season. I did the $9.99 elite specialist / legendary player packs at one point to shortcut to some of the masters. Other than that, I'm a bit of a sucker for the low-cost packs that give you a relatively high elite for purposes of auctioninf if I'm in a pinch on cash. Given all NBA cash I already saved up over time, I'll probably have enough to get Courtside Jalen Rose...but I wouldn't have bought it now, and there's no way I'm wasting hundreds of bucks on LeBron or Cousins or whatever other BS..

I am glad I haven't...I just searched for him and he's like a walking tabloid headline, with all caps. I don't need a fellow player shouting into my ear.
