Do you need them to be trained up to 100? Or to stay as is? Thanks though am not really interested in Derozan. Just need the bonus to get to Legend faster for the shards.

That's because the 98-99 players from the sets are not auctionable (as opposed to the 100-101 players from the packs in store). Not really a big deal if you're using them for the SD bonus since you have to train them anyway.
