PG Morant vs Baylor!

For the most part both PG's are almost the same.. not too worried about overall as my team stays @ 108 regardless.

In your Opinion who do yah think is a better Starting PG in both Manual and AI? Morant is pretty much automatic in Manual, very consistent behind the ARC. but in AI very easy to steal from. I wonder if Baylor is slightly better to put in AI.

Thanks :)

They all play the same iMO. Going from Morant, to Baylor to now 107 Marbury its like I'm playing with the exact same card. Always go for the higher ovr card that way your PG has the green shield when facing against other PGs. The only difference I've found is slightly better A.I play the higher your players ovr is. My leaguemates and I play each other when we get new players and record gameplay so we can see how our A.I plays. From what i can tell as long as your player has a green shield they play better despite stats. And the only way to get that green shield is having a higher ovr. So a 107 Ben Simmons boosted to 109 will play better than the same Simmons card boosted to 108. The same with other players, a 109 plays better than a 108, a 108 plays better than a 107 & so on regardless of stats so pick the higher ovr player that can be boosted higher. I was worried switching from Baylor to Marbury because Baylor has much better stats but being a higher ovr Marbury plays slightly better. I hit the same shots, make the same steals, but with Marbury I've noticed slightly better margins with better A.i.

I dont know abt that.. when I face different pgs I definitely c different levels of difficulty.. what matters slightly more is the ovr difference between teams too (maybe player vs player like u alluded to too)
My observations..
UA Curry definitely makes more open shots than 105 westbrook for eg.. interestingly 105 wb ai performance fluctuates..
Baylor actually has solid ai..
Cp3 is extremely easy to steal from.. wb to some extent..

But as stewie often says, at the end it depends on how u play.. how u steal.. how often u leave the player open..

I personally like going for taller pgs (so would go for Baylor of ur options) as I find it easier to steal and block with them..if they can shoot the three that's a plus..

Agreed, ovr differences between teams is what matters most. Someone could have the best PG in the game but if they are at an ovr disadvantage they would play like trash and someone could have the worst PG in the game but if they are at an advantage that PG would play lights out. Which is also why I always stress that if you can always go for the higher ovr. But ovr differences between players matters alot too especially if your equal in team ovr. Whenever I play the same ovr team but my player has a green shield above their head then I find it easier, but if I play the same ovr team and my players have a red shield then it's much tougher. I'm sure you've noticed this in those OP events where you go against crazy boosted elites and your high ovr player always has a red shield and how tough those events can be. The same with SD and LvsL, if you're player has a red shield then your player is at a disadvantage & it's tougher than when your player has the advantage & a green shield. In those OP events they create a disadvantage by boosting those elites, you can do the same and create a disadvantage for your opponent by making sure you have the higher boosted ovr player. My 107 boosted to 109 Marbury has been killing teams with lower ovr PGs like Baylor simply because in gameplay he has the advantage even if he has worse stats. So IMO what matters most is team ovr, followed by player ovr, then lastly stats.

I knew abt it. Just didnt give much credit to it...
Definitely makes a difference but I don't think it's just tied to OVR. I noticed that 107 Simmons played much better with +7 OBD boost and actually went from red to green against some PG's.

It's tied to ovr first then boost. A higher ovr always has a green shield. But if the ovr is the same then from what I can tell other factors like boost come into play. Ive had times where I have the exact same ovr and PG as my opponent but one of us has a green shield. So your definitely right, some boosts can influence the shield. I just wish I knew which ones so I can stack them.

Are you 100% sure about this and if so, is it tied to their base OVR or boosted OVR? The only reason I ask is because of the glitch where you don't always see all of the team boosts on the initial lineup page (mainly your own team boosts) but you can see the boosted OVR's in game.

Im 100% sure about the higher ovr always has the green shield. It's tied to whatever ovr you see on the first scouting screen......

So whichever players that have the higher ovr on that screen will have the green shield. And since we both have Admiral, if my opponents Admiral was boosted higher than mine to 109 then his player would have the green shield. I'm not 100% sure though what happens if say his Nash was boosted to 109 and if it uses the base or boosted ovr at that point. That's definitely something I need to figure out.

Is there a way to "scout" an SD opponent? The first screen I see when facing an opponent always shows my base OVR and sometimes base OVR's of the opponent but sometimes boosted versions. Lately I believe it's mainly boosted versions of their players and base versions of your own but I stopped paying attention when SD went to shit.
