It’s not even close. Stealing is the number one most important thing in this game to gain margin on an opponent. 3pt scoring is great but even if you only give up a 2 you’re only gaining +1 per possession while a steal and any basket is +2-3 per. Preventing the AI from scoring is how you get +30 margins in 2 lvl quarters and +20 in an SD match.

Agree to this. If you can steal with ease then you don’t have to worry about the blocking and rebounding. Will not mind not having a good 3point and will just probably make 3 using my clutches/buzzer beater and a quick sure 2 points will do through fastbreak from that steal, which won’t be needing the passing in most cases and open lay-up don’t miss in almost all the time. So yeah, stealing will probably answer all your frustrations in the gameplay.

Rebounding is actually important too. If you have an elite rebounding team you can get so many offensive rebounds which basically give you free points. Stealing is only important if you’re good at it, which is inconsistent in this game because I’ve used players with great steal ratings but somehow 102 Harden gets steals more often than them. Overall, rebounding is important and stealing is very important but only if you can do it consistently.

No offense but if your strategy for winning is centered around offensive rebounding then we’re playing two different games. The question wasn’t about how good you are at any of the given attributes (heck, I have a perfect release on 99% of my shots), but which is most “important”. Frankly, none of the other attributes matter if you can steal the ball in this game.

I didn’t say I win by getting offensive rebounding. I’m only saying that because I’ve been out rebounded in the past and it’s really frustrating if you don’t have great rebounders.

But yeah. I agree with you completely. None of the other attributes matter if you can steal the ball in this game.

I also think when you play, you can't try to keep pressing the stealing button as the AI can recognize you doing that and dribble past you. I usu try to steal aggressively only facing over-dribble players like harden.

I would say rebounding, it's what makes or breaks games for me. It's the different between going +5 or -5 in a lvl match. 3-4 offensive rebounds for my opponent means a really bad quarter for me.

I honestly don't know what matters, if anything. Rebounding has always been so broken. And then if you get nerfed by the game, none of it matters anyways.

I put +15 steal boost on my team yesterday, using 103 Doncic at PG with his steal rating already at 99. Played my 104 vs another 104 in LVL and got 1 steal in 2 quarters......which was a lucky swipe by another player. Didn't matter how I timed it, I got nothing and the 2 times I actually did get a piece of it, it was the stupid animation where you knock it out of bounds, then go save it right back to their PG.

I think we all get outrebounded regardless of what we do. Ai is just better at it
