Should I Improve my Street Lineup right now or wait a little bit?

Right now I have 4 million coins, my street lineup is a 78 overall but you need a 79 or better in order to play those final events. Should I improve my street lineup by buying players from AH or should I wait? What will be a better option?

Neither of my Street lineups were a 79 when the promo started. I managed to get them to an 81 and an 82 by using the Street campaign and the Street Upgrade 1 set. Right now I am working on boosting my Lockdown and Defensive lineups for the second and third part of the promo. I don’t think you need to use coins unless you don’t have the time or energy to grind. If you just want to unlock the ‘81 Giannis, I don’t think that card is worth spending coins to unlock.

If ur good at bid sniping, snipe the cards u need to get to 81, claim GianniS and then sell the cards again

For me, Im doing that set too. Interesting tNing is I don’t have enough sliver players to do it five times. You need to do each set five times and get the posterizer thing and another elite to complete the set. I’m doing it slowly, see what I can do but I won’t spend my coins

I've spent about 14M since the start of the season and barely have an 85OVR team to show for it.

My advice would be to just upgrade the necessary amount to open up the campaign goals. Getting your street lineup to 79 shouldn't cost you more than 500-600k with a minimum of sniping, since 80-82ovr players can be bought for about 150k nowadays.

Some slight positives: 85 Butler has been amazing for me. He's solid enough shooting from range, but his defense has worked wonders for me in Showdown! First card this season that I've actually been satisfied with. Sure, he's a far cry from the 109/110 players I ended the season with, but he's head an shoulders above the rest of my lineup, including the superstars.

85 Trae Young was a bit too streaky for me, so I replaced him with Hardaway. Drexler is fine for shooting, but lacking in defense and passing. 83 Zion is also playing better than expected, and is the best rebounder on my team.

Still waiting for the first card to really blow my mind though. Last season, 105 Vanvleet and 105 Westbrook were those cards for me, far outperforming their rating against higher OVR's for me.

Silver players are easy to obtain. Do the 100 stamina blitz event twice and buy a silver player pack with the rewards.

That's a lot of coins to spend this early in the season. Personally, I like this time of the season where you need to build your lineups from scratch, and I like this promo because it gives you plenty of elites. But I've noticed that people with a lot of coins who have already upgraded their lineups aren't getting as much out of this promo. I am not sure why people feel the need to upgrade their lineups so quickly. There is no competitive reason to build a lineup for LvL or even Showdown. Why are people in such a hurry to progress?

Nunn PG-Sharpshooter 83 is good for shooting 3`s ... Ray Allen sux, missing to much open shoots, so far my favourites are 79 Vleet and Rozier good dribling and dunking even against higher opponents
